about

Tha Don Benedetto is no stranger to the art of creating music. He “composed” & tracked his first song at the tender age of 5 in his dad’s home studio – live drums & vocals. It was no hit record, but it sparked his interest in music for the rest of his life. Fast forward to high school – after spending 9 years studying saxophone and piano, Tha Don Benedetto began creating & producing hip hop tracks – his own stuff & collaborations with other local artists. However, he wasn’t confined to just this one genre. He is quoted as saying “I’ll compose anything I feel like doing in that particular moment. I’ve written classical etudes to house tracks to satirical emo songs to dubstep. Anything that entertains me, I’ll make it.” After high school, Tha Don Benedetto attended Berklee College of Music in Boston. He majored in Music Business taking the Entrepreneur track. “I figure that you can be the best musician in the world, but until you learn how to make money playing music, it’s just a hobby.” Following in the footsteps of music moguls Jay-Z and Diddy, he established his own record label & production company and dubbed it Phantom Enterprise, after Phantom of the Opera – a huge musical inspiration – and Wayne Enterprises of Batman.

The Canadian Singer/Songwriter Mackenzie Dutton could sing notes before she could talk.
