Burcu Gulec, an accomplished vocalist, has made quite a presence for herself in Turkey as well as worldwide. For three years, Burcu lent her voice to the prestigious program “Hafta Sonu”, a radio broadcast aired live in Turkey, the US, and other parts of Europe. In addition to her radio performances, Burcu has performed in exclusive venues and has been featured on numerous recordings. After graduating from Hacettepe University with a degree in Child Development, Burcu was involved with “Use of Music for Acceleration of Language Development in Children with Hearing Loss”, a project in which she worked hands-on with hearing impaired children. After two years of work on the project, Burcu began working on her Master’s Degree in Educational Audiology at Hacettepe University until she was accepted at Berklee College of Music. The education and cultural diversity was so alluring that she was immediately intrigued and enrolled in the summer of 2010. Being involved in countless projects, studying at Berklee College of Music is allowing Burcu to share her music with all people and she is grateful for the opportunity to do so.
